Your Love

For Your love is like the ocean,

Not bound by height or breadth,

And none can truly fathom,

The vastness of its depth.

It consumes all who enter,

Covers them with grace.

Your mercy never ceases,

For those who look upon Your face.

Oh God, You keep running towards us

Despite our worst intents.

Your pursuit is pure and holy,

You never force consent.

You love us without conditions,

You hold us when we cry.

You tell us that you are coming back,

You confirm it every day as you paint the evening sky.

PRM 10/7/20

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.   I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name,  I will lift up my hands.   Psalms 63:3
