Slow Down Man

Slow down man, enjoy yourself,

You’re running way too fast.

Don’t you know it’s the little things

That in your memory will last.

Slow down man, you’re too uptight.

You worry and you fret.

For life with all its hills and bumps,

It isn’t finished yet.

Slow down man, and live today,

Like no one else will see.

For doing this will give you peace,

And happier you’ll be.

Slow down man, and take a breath

Take a long slow deep one.

Let go of all that weighs you down,

And enjoy the setting sun.

Slow down man, and rest awhile,

For you there’s always something more.

But one day you’ll find, tis always true,

Your body keeps the score.
