In the Zone

God, I want to stay in this zone with You,

This place where things are clearer and true.

I don’t want to stop exploring my story,

And attributing to You all the glory.

To be in the zone of absorbing Your Love,

To the peace that it brings to this earth from above.

In the zone of knowing that I am enough,

When the pressures are strong and the going gets rough.

In the zone where the lies inside are tamed,

As I hear You calling directly to me by name.

In the zone where I know what it means to be free,

Because You see the very essence of me.

In the zone of Truth, Reality, and Light,

To take a deep satisfying breath of living right.

In the zone where reality and happiness collide,

And the overwhelming darkness is forced to subside.

Let me stay in the zone until this life is through,

Because in the end the only thing that matters is You.
