Diving In (Immersed 2023)

I want to dive in deep,

Surrounded all around.

For it is in that place with You,

Where freedom can be found.

You hold me close, and heal the pain,

And wipe away my tears.

You remind me that I am Your child,

To help allay my fears.

The world, it takes a toll on me,

With trouble on the ground.

The stats, the charts, the endless noise,

Can really bring me down.

Yet You remind me time and again,

That You are always here.

And if I keep my eyes on You,

My heart will know no fear.

So God, to You, I surrender all,

It is where I find real reward.

By diving in and letting go,

And laying down my sword.

Give me ears to listen,

To all You have to say.

Be my compass here on earth,

Each and every day.
