If you would like to dig deeper into who God created you to be before the pain of the world got in the way, I would love to suggest the Soulwell Journey.  It is a unique experience that takes place over 3 weekends (over a 6-month period) in Central Texas.  Each weekend builds on the previous one and focuses on understanding yourself better - how God created you and what might have gotten in the way based on your unique story. 

I know there are many opportunities and retreats for "self-help", but this is truly unlike any other experience I have seen. It is grounded in spiritual formation work and provides the perfect opportunity to grow deeper into who God created you to be.  They have separate journeys for both men and women, and normally run two full journeys for both each year in the Spring and Fall.
